D'banj Parts Ways with his Producer DeeVee

D'banj might have Part ways with his Producer Devee

For the past four years DeeVee had worked for The former Mohits Co- Founder and current CEO of DB records with hits like Omini, Feeling The N^gga, Shake it and a lot more.

But today Deevelee via his official instagram account updated a photo and captioned it:

"4 years after... end of an era... moving on...
was fun.. let's conquer again…"

Though we have "not confirmed" this from D'banj, Fans has started speculating that the reason behind the split up was because Deevee had not produced any hit song for D'banj since he started working for him (D'banj) in the year 2014.

it is however clear that, after the Don Jazzy and D'banj Split, the said artist has not been doing very well compared to his previous achievements when he had Don Jazzy  as his producer. But the question now is...

Who Plays The biggest Role in a Song?

Many Nigerians will likely say the Artiste while others would say the Producer and the argument would go on and on again but the real truth is in an industry like Nigeria, it is hard to decide who does the major job because:

  • A drunk Lady in the club does not listen to the whack lyrics of a song but only  wants to dance and shake her bumz, in this vain, most random musicians nowadays, are bent on releasing fake and  meaningless club songs which trends for days and fades into thin air.

  • Second, Some Nigerian Artistes do not come original; they just want to make more money and go back to the holes.

    • Musicians care most about the clubs bangers than songs the real people would want to hear.

Generally, When a producer gives a nice beat and you drop lame lines that does not convey a meaningful message, what reason has the fans to highly rate and listen to your song again?

Conclusion;

When an artist is not doing well, the fault is definitely not from the producers. The artist should go back restructure, improve his or her lyrics and approach to music.
