Oritse Femi apologises to fans from his hospital bed
He wrote:
Hello my lovely fans, I know a lot of you have been waiting to hear from me directly. Let me start by saying I'm sorry for disappointing you all. I have never been involved in any altercation before now.
I love peace and I would never hurt anyone knowingly. Things got out of hands and I reacted badly, it was a mistake, and I take the blame. I'm human and at that moment I acted unruly.
I want to thank you all for your support over the years and I understand if you are angry with me, I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you to those that have reached out to me.
There is no 'Oritsefemi' without you my lovely fans.
This will never happen again. Lessons learnt.
I will continue to give you good music that I am known for not violence.
Thank you once again and God bless you all for me....much love my people .

YOU MAY GO BROKE IN LAGOS IF YOU DO THESE 7 THINGS
Below are some of the things that may make you go broke in Lagos:
1. Partying and clubbing
If you are the type that enjoys hanging out with the boys on Friday nights and emptying bottles of liqueurs, you may have to slow down a bit. The boys you hang out with maynot be able to help you when you go broke before the end of the month. You basically want to impress the girls you meet at the club and end up spending more than what you earn per day.
The Saturday owambes may also be dodged stylishly. If you must go, wearone of the fabrics you have. Buying expensive asoebi that would make them share sunlight detergent and plastics for you as souvenirs is definitely not worth it.
3. Betting on sports
it is high time you stopped doing some things. Habits like betting would run you down before you know it; the terrible thing about it is that it is addictive. You keep hoping you would win one day and continue to invest in it.
Lagos, like every other major city in Nigeria is becoming difficult to live in.You have to let go of unproductive investments.
3. Cabbing every time
We understand the fact that you are classy and all; you have to go out and run your errands in cabs. You may even have cab men that you call on every time you are stranded. Remember these cabs do not run on water. They run on a substance that is being sold for N145 per litre now. We are sure you know it. These cabs are more expensive than the regular buses; but depending on your bargaining power, you may still be able to get affordable ones. Reduce the way you take cab and save money.
4. The insignificant charges from banks
Many Nigerians have the habit of hitting the bank anytime they are in need of money. Yes, that is the only place you can withdraw and collect money. You can save yourself the stress of queuing at the bank because you want to withdraw 3k.The bank charges that you would incur at the end of the month could buy you recharge cards. These little charges as insignificant as they are would make a difference if they were paid in as interests on your account.
5. Crave for designers
We love seeing people with class, people with finesse and standard. At this period, it would be nice for you tocut down on your expenses and stop being crazy about products made by designers.
The other products with brands that are not as popular also do well and serve the same purpose with the designers you like.
6. Misplaced priorities
At this point in time, you have to make a list of the things you need in the house for that month. The era of buying things just for keeps have passed. If you do not want to get broke in Lagos, you have to draw out your table for opportunity cost.
You should know the difference between needs and wants at this stage. Stop paying bills of services that are underutilized. Stop cheating yourself; it is useless registering in a club with a large sum of money and not having enough time to function asa member there.
7. Not being frugal
You would go broke in Lagos if you are not frugal. Stop giving money out anyhow; doing this would give people the impression that you have money to spare. Everyone is struggling and you should learn to save despite the things and people you are investing in.
Except your name ends with Otedola, you have to be cautious with the way you spend since you do not many businesses registered in your name.

Things didn't work out the way he expected and he gave up and stopped doing music. After two years he came back and said he was ready for the industry, so i said Okay bro. I still got your back.
Recently, Everyone got talking about Wizkid's Feature on Drake Views album, Wizkid tops the Billbord Chart, Wizkid, the first Nigerian to appear on the Billboad Chart and so on. Such Great success did not come like a Miracle, the kid worked towards it for several years and i believe he deserves what he gets.
Some guy shared a wonderful quote via his twitter page this evening and it reads.
"Don't ask God to Direct your Foot steps when you are not ready to move your feet"Read also: The Port Harcourt Entertainment Industry Review 2 with Tarrmie {Djs Edition}
- If Mr 2kay, a water side boy could become one of the famous celebrities in Africa, bro you too can,
- If Mr 2Kay can bring African top rated artistes to his hometown: bro you too can bring Jay z, Beyonce, Justin Bieber and Birdman to your village.
- If Wizkid could be featured on Drake's Views Album; bro you too can be featured on Kendrick's Next Album.
JUST THAT
There is no Miracle about it, you have to move your feet (Extra Extra Try) before what seems impossible in your mind becomes possible.Read below what Sessan Adeniji shared via Mystreetz Magazine About Mr 2Kay
‘The industry is going bonkers. There are so many issues to talk about but I will rather focus on one story that continues to unfold in front of us all.
While so many folks who can afford data are busy quarrelling on social media on every issue that springs forth, another generation of people living in several Projects can’t afford the basic necessities of life. Out of one of these Projects, somewhere far away in an area called Waterside in Port Harcourt, a young man rose out of the ashes to become one of the most promising artistes in the country.
From dropping out of the university because of lack of money, to hawking foodstuffs, to gathering money to pay school fees and re-enrolling but eventually having to drop out because of insufficient funds, to later deciding to opt for music, Mr 2Kay's journey to succeed in the Nigerian music industry reads like one script designed for the movies. Arguably, 2Kay’s tales from the most unusual places can be described as one of the best stories of someone living The Nigerian Dream.'

Wizkid has been apologising since Friday – Linda Ikeji Revealed
I spoke with Wizkid through his lawyer on Friday April 15th where he tendered an apology to me and said he wasn’t a violent person, that he didn’t mean what he said, that it was just an emotional outburst. And then he asked for forgiveness. Please continue…
But despite forgiving him, he still had to show up at the Police HQ to officially apologize and write an undertaken which he did today.
I see a lot of negativity has come out of this case with Wizkid – with many folks bashing me for reporting a threat on my person. But here’s my consolation and why I am glad this happened. I promise you, especially the ladies, Wizkid will never threaten you with harm again. At least not in public. I believe I am the last bus stop. He will think twice before threatening another human being again on social media. A police file has been opened for him, and he has been cautioned. The day he threatens another human being again with harm, then…
Having said that, I turned down taking a photo with him and the police commissioner this afternoon. One of his people took a pic of him and the commissioner with me in it and my people insisted they delete it. Not because I haven’t forgiven him, I just don’t need the extra drama.
I wish Wizkid all the best and will continue to celebrate him.
God bless us all.

Kenya: Why I spent Sh 1million on my music video- Kenyan gospel star Ringtone
![]() |
| Ringtone |
Tenda Wema, the new single shows a new side of the singer and to his confession, it is the start of a new chapter in his life.
“Honestly, I was about to quit gospel music. I got to a point where I felt that the industry was moving towards the wrong direction. Many gospel singers were fighting each other and scheming for each other’s downfall. I also became a target and twice my Karen residence was broken into and my electronics were stolen. It was a very uncomfortable situation,” Ringtone told Pulse.
“I have been in the music scene for quite some time now and I also felt that I had done my part. As a role model, I am starting a talent search centre to train upcoming musicians and that is the other reason why I was planning to stop singing, not because of politics,” he noted.
Two weeks ago, Ringtone hired two choppers to Lake Magadi where he recorded a video for his upcoming song that features celebrated gospel star and long-time friend Christina Shusho. According to the singer each of the choppers cost him Sh500,000 for the entire time he used them for the shoot.
“This collabo is different from any other musical piece I have ever done before. It defines the new direction I want to take as an entertainer and gospel singer. I want to do more mature music. I also plan to settle down soon,” Ringtone told Pulse.
With hits like Mziki ni Dawa and Jubilee, Ringtone has been one of the consistent and versatile gospel singers in the country. His music career has however been dogged by controversies with some critics questioning the source of his big cash that has seen him invest in state-of-the-art cars and a Sh 20 million house in Karen.
He even shocked many when he announced that he was ready to marry Tanzanian singer Ray C adding that he made a number of trips to Tanzania during which the two met. That was last year. We have all been waiting.
“Well, that was then. I know people still want to know if I am dating and whether I am about to settle down. Those are valid questions my fans have been asking. The waiting won’t be too long,” he remarked.
“The big problem is that as a celebrity, it is very hard to know which of your lady friends is ready for a serious relationship. You never know if they are in it just for the fame or for the love. But I am looking around and waiting on God.”
Asked what happened about his alleged affair with American contemporary singer Jamie Grace, Ringtone declined to comment.
