See Lady Gaga Without Makeup Before Her Big Oscars Performance

The 29-year-old American singer, Lady Gaga posted a Snapchat of herself totally makeup-free on Sunday prior to her highly anticipated performance of her Oscar-nominated song, "Til It Happens To You," looking very different from her usual glammed-up self.

"I prayed this day would come," she wrote.

The American Horror Story: Hotel actress also made it clear who she was rooting for on Oscar Sunday, giving a shout-out to Best Actor favorite, Leonardo DiCaprio, despite their now infamous awkward run-in at the Golden Globes last month.


"Don't know about u but I'm rooting for LEO! He's blessed us w/ years of his storytelling, he deserves this! #1!! ❤️ " she tweeted.


Gaga, who has been very vocal recently about her support for Kesha in her lawsuit against producer Dr. Luke, also took time out of her busy Sunday to tweet the "Tik Tok" singer.

"I'll be thinking of u 2nite," Gaga tweeted. "This is not over we'll stand by u until you are free to live a HAPPY life. Everyone deserves that."


We previously confirmed that Vice President Joe Biden will introduce Gaga before she takes the Oscar stage to perform "Til It Happens To You," from the documentary The Hunting Ground. Biden is a longtime advocate against sexual assault and domestic violence, and The Hunting Ground deals with campus sexual assault.


The cause is especially personal for Gaga -- in December 2014, she revealed during an interview with Howard Stern on his SiriusXM show that she was raped when she was 19 years old.

Last December, Gaga said she refused to let the incident define her during her performance at TimesTalk.


"When somebody says to me, 'Oh, that happened to you?' 'Oh, did that damage you?' I'm thinking to myself, 'You don't know who the f**k I am now! You don't want to meet me in an alleyway. What I've been through,'" she said. "You can own your pain and it can be a good part of you."
