Boko Haram Group Begs President Buhari For Peace Talks!!! (Must Read) #NekxFresh

President Muhammadu Buhari has been
approached by a faction, as it named itself, of the deadly Boko Haram sect, seeking peace negotiations with Nigeria’s government.

Garba Shehu, the presidential spokesman, made this known in a statement, saying that efforts were under way to “ verify their claims” of having such power.

“A faction of the Boko Haram group came forward claiming to have the mandate to negotiate with the
government, ” he said.

Buhari’s government recently said it was not opposed to negotiations with the sect, which has killed thousands and left around 1.5 million people
evacuated during its insurgency.
Shehu added: “It is now left for them to show proof that they have the mandate, but they made it clear
that they are representing a faction of Boko Haram that wants peace.”

It should be noted that despite his earlier stance during the electoral campaign President Buhari has
recently said he is willing to hold talks with Boko Haram commanders for the rescue of more than 200 Chibok schoolgirls abducted last year.

The insurgents have killed more than 600 Nigerians in a spate of bombings and shootings since new president was sworn-in on May 29.

President Buhari will visit Cameroon on July 29-30 as part of efforts to cooperate with countries with which
Nigeria shares borders.

It would be recalled that efforts to reach a peace agreement by the previous government of Goodluck
Jonathan failed as Boko Haram denied holding any talks with government.

APC & PDP at War Over Source ofN804.7 Billion Economic Bailout for States Owing Salaries #Nekxfresh

http://bellanaija.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/Muhammadu-Buhari.png
On Tuesday, BN brought you the news that President
Muhammadu Buhari approved the sum of N804.7
billion to assist states who have been unable to pay
salaries.

And now, Vanguard is reporting that the presidency
and the national leadership of PDP are sharply
divided over the sources of the N804.7 billion.
The report states:

While the PDP said that a significant amount of the
princely sum came from savings left behind by the
out-gone administration of Goodluck Jonathan, the
Presidency disagreed, arguing that the money came
from proceeds of Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas
(NLNG). The Presidency also denied some media
reports that the presidential relief package was
drawn from the Excess Crude Accounts, ECA,
stressing that the ECA is intact.

PDP National Chairman, Olisa Metuh, released the
following statement on the matter (excerpts):

“This development is in clear contradiction to the
earlier impression given by President Buhari to
Nigerians and the international community that
they should not expect much from his
administration in its first 100 days because
according him, on assumption of office, he met a
virtually empty treasury.

We want to believe that given the President’s
release of such huge amount, he may have
realized that he was earlier misdirected on the
actual financial state of the nation at the time he
took over. In this regard, we expect the President,
as a respected statesman to do the needful to
correct that erroneous impression.

Furthermore, we expect President Buhari’s APC
administration as direct beneficiary of this savings
initiated by past PDP administrations to
appreciate the strategic importance of always
saving for rainy days and as such guarantee
prudent & transparent management of the
nation’s resources now under its care.”

In response, Senior Special Assistant to the President
Buhari on Media and Publicity, Mallam Garba
Shehu said:

“Let me say that no money was taken from the
Excess Crude Account. I was present two weeks
ago when the governors met with the President,
one of them (governors) called his attention to the
fact that he had heard that Nigeria Liquefied Natural Gas, NLNG, had paid in some dividends to Nigeria.
Let me also add that in the course of their courtesy visit last week, the board of NLNG announced to the president that they had made the payment. So in a similar way, the President was just informed about this money last week.”

Special Adviser to the President on Media and
Publicity, Femi Adesina also stated:

“Reports in sections of the media today that funds
will be drawn from the Excess Crude Account for
the relief package approved by President Muhammadu Buhari for states and local governments, are incorrect. For the purpose of
greater clarity on the matter, the measures approved by President Buhari to deal with the
problem of unpaid public sector salaries in many
states are as follows:

*The sharing of the $2.1 billion dividend paid to
the Federation Account by the Nigeria Liquefied
Natural Gas Company (NLNG);

*A Central Bank-packaged special intervention
fund that will offer financing to the states, ranging
from N250 billion to N300 billion. This will be a
soft loan available to states for the purposes of
paying backlog of salaries; and

*A debt relief programme designed by the Debt
Management Office which will help states
restructure their commercial loans currently put
at over N660 Billion, and extend the life span of
such loans while reducing their debt-servicing
expenditures.

The measures approved by President Buhari
definitely do not include drawing down the
remaining balance in the Excess Crude Account or
the “liquidation” of the account as some media
outlets have wrongly reported. No such decision
has been taken or approved by President Buhari,
and last week’s meeting of the National Economic
Council clearly concluded that the Excess Crude
Account should be left untouched at this time.”

and dying because they take
care of me when I am sick. Governor fashola and apc I was
listening to the radio on my way
to school today and I heard that
we can send money to you to
help you to win the election. My
mummy said that I can donate from N100 so that we can help
APC to raise the money to win
the election and remove
president goodluck jonathan so
that mr buhari and professor
osinbajo can be the new president and assistant
president and be able to help
nigeria to fight the boko haram
people who are killing innocent
children and also bring back the
chibok girls so that their mummies and daddies can be
happy.

Governor Fashola and APC,
please don’t you think that
N100 is too small? I have the
new N100 notes but I am sorry I
will not be able to give it to you
because I only have one and I want to keep it in my wallet. But
I have N5785 that I saved from
my lunch money and pocket
money and toothfairy money. I
know it’s my mummy giving the
toothfairy the money to give me because I found my tooth in her
wallet last year. and I want to
give you all my money that I
saved so that you can win in
February. I have N5785 naira and also N8
but the N8 is in coins and it’s
only in Shoprite that they gave
me so I want to go and spend it
there. I wanted to buy my
inhaler disk but my daddy has bought another new one for me.
I have given my mummy the
money and she put it on her
card to pay it on your website
and she paid it now. I wish I could
get more money for you but that will be next week when I
get more lunch money from my
daddy and toothfairy can’t give
me any more money because all
my teeth have all grown back. I
can still save more money for you and give you in February.
Please help me give some of the
money to Mr Ambode too so
that he can win Mr Jimmy
Agbaje. I like Mr Ambode very
much. I wish you Goodluck not Goodluck
Jonathan but best of luck and
please you can call my mummy’s
number if you need me to send
the money I want to save for
you.But you will have to give me some time to save it.
Please say hello to Mr Ambode,
Mr Buhari and professor Osinbajo
for me.” One of President Jonathan’s
aides, Doyin Okupe, who is known
for his verbal attacks on
opposition parties, was recently publicly embarrassed by
journalists during a media
briefing at the presidential villa
in Abuja when he said Rtd Gen Mohammad
