Port Harcourt Entertainment Industry Review 3 with Tarrmie de man (Blogger's Edition)

Good day everyone.

Before i release my bombs and "dry dry article" let me start by thanking my faithful readers for your continuous visit and also apologise for not following up the weekly Publications.

Today when i searched the keyword " Port Harcourt Entertainment " on Google, my first edition of the Port Harcourt Entertainment industry review graced the number one spot.

Thanks everyone for the views, shares and backlinks.

In one of my articles, i explained why people browse the internet more than they listen to their conventional radio stations because everyone has got to hook up with one or two friends or family on Facebook and there is no blogger that does not share his/her articles to social medias.

Now, Over the years i noticed that, when you send a good song produced by one of the A List Lagos based Djs to the top blogs we have in Nigeria, it does not take a day to appear on their front page but say you are an artist from the south, you'd definitely get a message that reads a long statement but explains one thing, "DISAPPROVAL".

One, two and three blogs cannot do everything in the Nigerian Entertainment Industry as there are loads of entertainers and lots of Events, songs and videos dropping every day and we cannot just let them do everything when we actually can do what they do in our little ways.

When i visit these heavy weight blogs, i see articles that are less standard yet they post them and get millions of traffic every month and we sit back and wait for the biggest hits and gists to drop and expect to gain popularity in the blogsphere.

What is wrong if i put up one of Youngstunna or Onosz's tweet on my blog?

What would really go wrong if i share one of Bukwild's instagram videos?

If i do these things, does it mean i lack content?

Or is it alright when i share a video of Tekno dancing in his room but when i share a video of Lamili's Radio or Double Jay's club tour it becomes LACK OF CONTENTS in quote?

It is really a pity that, a Port harcourt Entertainment blogger would ignore our local stars or ask for big pays to upload songs or hype events but will do all these for 2face and Don Jazzy for free.

You haven't noticed but when one of these big blogs manages to put up your video on their blog, they just embed the youtube video and leave out conversion for download but when 2face releases a video, they embed, convert and put up link for direct download. You haven't noticed hun?

I am not against what these guys do with our local artistes because we already do worse. Most of these blogs have headquarters in Lagos, They are unaware of what goes on around here and they are already too busy repping Naija (really?)

But what is our excuse for ignoring our own?

We leave our industry, our city, our stars, our people, we leave what we know and go to their SITES to copy stories we use on our blogs. But wait o, when last did you see your gist on Tooxclusive?

Port Harcourt is a fast growing industry and we have a lot of things to cover, we have loads of songs and videos to cover. It is our duty to expose our entertainers to the world and make a lagosian want to know what is happening in our city.

It is important that we expand the Nigeria Entertainment by helping people blow in their cities. It is now almost like if an artiste does not go to Lagos he/she wouldn't succeed but with the pace at which the industry is growing, brother, in the next ten years, Ten People would sleep in a room in Lagos and stil have people snoring in the kitchen.

Blogs can help grow the industry faster than anyone could think of and it is important we know that.

It seems music is the hot cake in our country. Bloggers must also be respected and noticed because nobody cares about us around here maybe because they are ignorant of what we for the industry.

Musicians pay huge amount of money for productions, artwork and Caller Ring Back services but who lets this things out? we do.

I have more than a thousand active followers
More than a thousand active friends on facebook
More than a thousand likes on two of my active pages
If Five bloggers have the same "Low" stats and should hype one event, who says people will not come.

Investing on blogs would really go a long way in any area of your career as an entertianer.

I see some guys around here would upload their songs on MyNotJustOk and effortless share that link everyday on their pages and walls but would leave out the ones we uploaded for them on blogs with our tags and everything.
You don't want to give us traffic for our AdSense and stuffs, how do we get paid at the end of the month to keep the good work going since it is difficult for artiste to pay a dime to bloggers for promotions.

My conclusion is, Let us focus more on our people and stop stealing stories from other people when we already have them here in our city.

Bloggers should be respected and Entertainment investors should also invest on us.

You see for those of you that have good songs.
Send them to Nekxpromos@gmail.com on one condition. (The song be really good). ..
..
..
..
Have a great day.
