finally weighed in on 9ice publicly
apologizing in an open letter, following
9ice, publicly apologizing to him and
ex-wife, Toni Payne.

Recall, Ruggedman was accused of
sleeping with Toni Payne while still
being married to 9ice, an accusation,
the rapper vehemently denied.

In 2010 9ice released a song that
made a lot of people wrongfully drag
me into a terrible situation. People
who misconstrued the song and it
created a rumour ..

A terrible false rumour that was
fueled by journalists and bloggers who
were only after hits on their sites.

Bloggers and journalists who did
not care to investigate and confirm a
rumour,but chose to print and post it
anyways not caring who got hurt in
the process.

I remember pleading my innocence
and that of Toni Paynes but social
media people being who and how they
are,chose not to listen.

I remember calling 9ice on the phone
CIA style to talk to him about it and
he was clearly heard admitting the
song was not about myself or Toni
Payne, but social media people being
who and how they are, chose not to
listen.

I remember asking 9ice to publicly
clear the air on the terrible
rumour, but was shocked when my
friend said he would not because he
was busy and didn’t have time for
such. Again nobody wondered why.
Fast forward 2016. six years later and
I was surprised when i heard that 9ice
has finally come out to say i never
slept with his wife and the song was
not about me and even apologised on
top.That he has finally come out to
say the truth about the issue that cast
a negative shadow over my head and
that of his ex wife for six years.

All i can do is smile because I know
me better than anybody out there who
insulted me over the matter. I said it
then and i say it now, Michael
Ugochukwu Stephens will never sleep
with his friends wife.

Families and husbands you can now
relax. Your daughters and wives are
safe around me hahahahaha!!
To 9ice, bro you left it a bit too late.
You had your chance to clear this
matter up 6 years ago when it really
mattered but you did not take it. I do
not know why and exactly what it was
that made you keep quiet all that
while. I did my best to clear my name
without you and moved have moved
on since.

Anyways I accept your apology and
thank God we are all alive.
To bloggers and journalists: You will
be who and how you are,but the best
and most successful ones amongst you
will be the ones who actually get
professional about with their work
and try to investigate stories before
putting it out there. I really hope you
all realise its not all about the hits. Do

rapper, Reminisce, have dropped vibes
that they might be working on a new

The pair were pictured together at a
studio, with what seems like a new beat

Corruption allegation against me is without proof - Amaechi. Says he doesn't like money

Minister of Transport and former governor of Rivers State, Rotimi Amaechi, says all the allegations of corruption leveled against him by his successor, Nyesom Wike and the past government, are without proof. According to him, he suffered a lot in the hands of EFCC as the governor of Rivers State. Amaechi said this while delivering a lecture titled “Legislature and Executive Partnership for Effective Performance,” at a retreat for the executive arms of Plateau State government held at the National Institute for Policy and Strategic Studies (NIPSS) Kuru, yesterday February 2nd.

“I suffered a lot about corruption without any proof against me by anti-graft agency. I was harassed, though I fought my way through, they accused me of corruption. I suffered a lot, I suffered a lot about corruption. I don’t like money. I believe once you can feed, you don’t need money again. All those who accumulate are doing so to their detriment” he said.

Jonathan-: President Buhari is Free to Send Me on Assignments

Former President Jonathan says President Buhari can send him on any assignment, depending on the type and whether he has the capacity to carry it out. Jonathan said this while speaking at a ceremony organized by International diplomats, the Cercle Diplomatique, based in Geneva last week.

“I am former president and I cannot throw myself on the new government. It depends on the assignment the current president decides to give me and also depends on if I have the capacity to carry out such assignment.
He is our president and can decide to send people on assignments based on national interests. When I was in office, I used to give assignments to former presidents and that is how it has always been. I am free to work for my country and indeed for any other African president that considers my service valuable"he said

Yemi Alade Shoots Music Video with Sauti Sol in Kenya

Award-winning Nigerian diva Yemi Alade caused a frenzy in East Africa when she unlocked the music video of the Swahili version of her hit single “Na Gode”, last week.

The energetic performer arrived Kenya this morning, this time to shoot a new music video for a collaboration with sexy Kenyan boy-band Sauti Sol. The track is reportedly housed on her anticipated sophomore album “Mama Africa”, which slated for a March 2016 release.

PDP Laments Buhari’s Attack On Judiciary

Being part of the remark by the Acting National Chairman of The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Prince Uche Secondus, at the inauguration of the Imo State PDP Caretaker Committee today, Monday, February 1, 2016.

The peoples Democratic Party (PDP) urges the judiciary, as the last hope of the common man, to continue to assert its independence and not allow itself to be deterred from upholding justice and the rule of law, no matter the pressure

The judicial community and in fact, all discerning Nigerians were shocked by the release by the Presidency on Sunday wherein President Muhammadu Buhari was quoted to have described the judiciary as the 'major headache' of his administration.

This statement is a direct affront on the statutorily guaranteed independence of the judiciary and more worrisome is the fact that a President of a country had to tie back already settled judgments of the Supreme Court, the highest court in the land, in cases involving him, as a benchmark of his assessment of the institution of the judiciary at the moment.

While we express worry at the attacks on the judicial arm of government, we are aware that they are intended to blackmail and stampede the judiciary to deliver judgments against the PDP in various pending cases involving our party and some of our leaders in the courts.

While we urge the judiciary to ensure that it adequately guards its flanks from all external influences, we also caution the executive to focus on governance, while respecting the constitutionally guaranteed principle of separation of powers by allowing the judiciary and the legislature indeed, all statutory arms of government to freely operate within the bounds provided by our laws.

Finally, the PDP wishes to call on critical stakeholders to appreciate the fact that the Judiciary, in its nature as an arbiter, cannot join issues with the other arms, and such needs to be defended from the brazen blackmail by the APC-led Government.

Catholic Church punishing Mbaka, says APC

The Enugu state chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC) is unhappy with the transfer of Ejike Mbaka, a reverend father and spiritual director of the Adoration Ministry Enugu (AMEN), from Christ the King parish, GRA, Enugu, to lesser-known Our Lady Parish, Umuchigbo, Njinike, by the Enugu Catholic Diocese.

The party is also unhappy that Mbaka, a senior priest, has been ” will be degraded to an assistant parish priest” at his new posting.

Mbaka moved out of Enugu on Saturday, describing his transfer as a witch-hunt and saying he would suffer at his new base, but he promised not to fight anybody as he was “welcoming the church’s voice with absolute acceptance and obedience”.

Defending the priest in a statement on Sunday, Osita Okechukwu, spokesman of the APC south-east caucus, alleged that the transfer was influenced by outside forces and expressed concerns over Mbaka’s safety.

“It is wrong to punish the fearless priest for his prophecies, which have proven to be from God,” read the statement.

“Whereas we accept that the transfer of priests is a routine exercise of the great Catholic Church, we do not wholly accept a situation where the church allows external forces to influence transfer as the Mbaka’s case suggests, otherwise, future liberation clergy who speak truth to power will be hamstrung to the detriment of the society.

“Our major concern is the security implications and the fate of his flocks who are mostly the downtrodden who may find it difficult to go to Emene for salvation and healing. We frown at anything which will put Fr. Mbaka in harms way or deny his flocks healing.”

He maintained that APC remained in solidarity with the priest, observing that he had been under persistent attack from opponents of Muhammadu Buhari since prophesying that he would win the presidential election.

He also accused the leadership of Ohanaeze Ndigbo of playing a role in Mbaka’s transfer.

“As a party, we have watched with concern and trepidation the criticism, the attack, assault and unpleasant comments hurled against Fr. Mbaka since he providentially prophesied that President Buhari would win the 2015 elections.

“Even the Church did not spare him – he was called unprintable names, yet his prophecy came true. We are happy that Fr. Mbaka was vindicated.

“It must be pointed out that accusing fingers were pointed at the direction of some anti-Buhari elements like Ohanaeze Ndigbo, a group that didn’t want to hear the name of Buhari – even though Ohanaeze denied the allegation, doubts still persists.

“For we are still at a loss why a senior priest will be degraded to an assistant parish priest.

“We repeat that we are in solidarity with Fr. Mbaka and our major concern is the security of Fr. Mbaka and the suffering of his flocks mostly the poor who need his healing powers.

"We had thought that His Lordship Bishop Calistus Onaga could have retained him at the Adoration Ground, as the Bishop Emeritus Gbuji did because of security of his life and easy access by his flocks.”

Chris Brown's baby mama Nia Guzman is taking him to court on the claims that he is making their child sick. She told the judge that one year old Royalty has developed asthma, and it's all because Chris has exposed her to an extreme
amount of secondhand smoke, adding that he is a weed and tobacco enthusiast, according to a report by TMZ...

Nia says that every time Royalty comes back from a visit with Chris, she usually reeks of smoke. Nia said she's worried Chris is abusing drugs and has relapsed, mostly with sizzurp.

Nia wants Chris' visitation to be restricted, asking the judge to force him to hire a full-time nanny or pull back on his right to be around the child.

She also wants the judge to force Chris to take random drug tests, prohibit him from using drugs or consuming alcohol around Royalty, and stop him from smoking around their daughter.

She also wants her child support to
be increased from $2500 to $16000.
