Zamalek director Ismail Yousef has denied they are
interested in the service of Orlando Pirates and
Bafana Bafana striker Kermit Erasmus saying that the player did not impress them.

South African media reported on Tuesday that the
Egyptian giants moved to sign the Port Elizabeth-born striker.

“The talks about negotiations with Kermit are
completely untrue , to be honest he did not impress
us in the match , add to that if we signed him we
would not be able to use him in African
Confederation Cup as he represented Orlando
Pirates, this is big reason why we will not sign him.
We need players for Confederation up," Ismail Yousef told supersport.

The Giza-based club are in search for another
foreigner player as they look to axe their Burkinabe
striker Abdoul Cisse , who might leave after the end
of this season.

Zamalek just back Cairo after they won their clash
against Orlando Pirates last Saturday 2-1 in the
second leg of the group stage of African Confederation Cup.
